Far cry 5 อ พเดท 1.05 ม อะไรบ าง

after two playthroughs of far cry 5, I'm ready to provide my opinions on the game. To start I've only played far cry 4 so I can't compare it to the previous games in the series. but I will say that this was the first far cry I played through multiple times (normal and hard) so that says something. Following will be long and detailed but I think its necessary to understand how the game works I'm weighing my opinons.

Open world - this is one of the best looking and feeling open worlds I've seen in a game in a long time. It takes place in the fictional hope county montana, but is based on some real scenes in montana. the mountains, woods, lakes, rivers, homes, roads, all are very realistic and engrossing. there are tons of areas to explore and this gets to the next point of the review

Exploration - There is a new mechanic for opening up the map in far cry 5. everything is covered in fog on the map to start and the only way to reveal it is just by exploring. no longer do you have to climb to the top of the watch towers to reveal a part of the map. the game rewards you for exploration by eliminating the fog of war and also getting information from things you find and people you meet. once you find a new location or liberate an outpost, multiple npc's at the site will have icons over them. if you talk to them they will tell you about an event happening nearby or a location you need to see. this marker is then added to the minimap. also just like in previous games, you can find region maps to add more points of interest to your main map. exploring in far cry 5 is really good and one of the best parts of the game.

The enemy - Hope County Montana has been overrun by a group of Cultists know as The Project at Edens Gate. they are led by Joesph Seed, known as "the father", who predicts and apocalypse type event called the collapse, and believes God told him to save as many as he can. the game does a good job of presenting him as a lunatic cultist who truly believes he is doing the work of God. this entails rounding up local inhabitants and using a drug called bliss to brainwash them into joining the cult. obviously many wont go willingly so this is where the majority of enemy interactions happen. The map is divided into 3 main regions each run by one of the siblings. As you fight back against the cultists you gain resistance points, namely from liberating outposts, destroying cult property, saving hostages, and completing certain missions. as you build up resistance in each region the cult starts to fight back with tougher enemies and vehicles. this ties into the main negative I have about the game.

Enemy Spawn - it seems like as you build up resistance the cult throws more and more at you. they somehow know exactly where you are at all times and will start chasing you as soon as you get to a location. I would fast travel to a location and within 20 seconds a few guys on ATV would show up to try and gun me down. It is supposed to give the impression that your never safe and make you want to liberate the entire region more quickly. while it succeeds in that it also can be immersion breaking when you are constantly warding off enemies while trying to explore the world. it does get better once you overtake the region and beat the overlord controlling it, but it takes some time to get to that point. If you want to explore a region more either wait until beating the region boss or hold off on gaining too many resistance points early.

Story Missions- there are a lot of cutscenes in the game and while many can be skipped, on the first playthrough you'll want to watch them all. They give a lot of insight into the motivations and intentions of the enemy. the problem is the way these main quests are delivered. instead of building up to the mission and then starting it whenever you are ready, the game forces them on you after you meet certain resistance levels. there are 3 resistance levels in each region and they will send a capture party out after you beat each one. you can only avoid capture for so long before it forces you into a hallucination sequence where the main mission plays out. this usually involves escaping an area and can feel tedious. after doing 9 of these missions (3 in each region) it just starts to drag. Also the ending while thought provoking and potentially brilliant, feels forced and leaves some questions.

Weapons - Far Cry 4 had a lot of weapons, but many felt the same. Far Cry 5 has less weapons but they do feel different. as it usually goes, the more expensive Prestige weapons are mostly just cooler looking reskins of a base weapon. weapons can be picked off dead cultists or sometimes unlocked in stores after doing certain missions. you'll need money to buy the weapons, attachments and skins and it's not doled out easily. you get money from doing side missions but most of your loot will come from trading animal skins and fish, as well as doing prepper stashes

Hunting and Fishing - hunting has changed a bit in Far Cry 5. Instead of using skins for crafting upgrades, you can only sell them at shops for cash, which is in turn used to buy weapons vehicles and outfits. You can make quit a bit of money from hunting and fishing, stealth is encouraged as you can harvest more hides by clean kills with arrows or melee. Fishing is good in far cry 5 as well. as you explore the map and talk to people you'll find more fishing spots. these are normal or hard and usually will show up as a fish marker and label on your map when revealed. you can catch certain types of fish in different areas so you'll have to do a lot of exploring in order to find the type of fish you need to complete a challenge.

Vehicles- Far Cry 5 features a range of vehicles for every situation. there are cars, trucks, atvs, planes helicopters, boats etc. and there are a lot more available than in previous games. once you get a helicopter with mounted guns and missiles, you can potentially liberate an outpost from the sky in a few minutes. this makes some of the harder outpost easy but you can always use stealth if you want. The main advantage for using stealth is increasing cash reward (bonus 400 for no alarms and 1000 for not detected)

Guns for Hire- there are 9 companions you can hire to accompany you on your journey, but only 2 (after unlocking a perk) can be with you at once. these range from animals like stealth cougar and dog, massive grizzly bear, and other human characters that specialize in different things. some have vehicles others rely on stealth or sniping or destruction. its worth unlocking them all, which usually entails meeting them at liberated post and doing their loyalty mission to make them avaislble for hire. They have interesting voice lines and can make some encounters much easier. Also when you have 2 they can banter with each other back and forth. they also can revive you if your down which is a savior on harder difficulties.

perk points - perks in the game are similar to previous far cry games, except in how you receive the points. while far cry 4 you would level up and get more points for each experience level, in 5 the perks are tied to accomplishing certain tasks. these mostly entail things you will already be doing, like getting 10 kills with a rocket launcher, or other weapon. at first they come pretty naturally as you are exploring and using different weapons and vehicles. but eventually you will have to diversify your tactics if you want to unlock more later. also prepper stashes are a good source of perk points.

Prepper Stashes - these are essentially stashes of loot unlocked through solving mini puzzles. these are some of the most enjoyable activities in the game. the locations are usually uncovered by talking to an npc after liberating an outpost. go to the map icon and read the note with a clue about how to find the stash. these could be underground bunkers or hidden away in locked building that require finding a key. once you figure out how to get inside, you're rewarded with a decent amount of cash and 3 perk magazines (one perk point for each) so they are some of the most fun and rewarding parts of the game.

Conclusion- Far Cry 5 is a good game and definitely worth playing if you are looking for a new open world to explore and interact with. the level of destruction and enemy encounters has increased so you will have a lot of crazy sequences which is the whole fun of far cry. Enemies or animals can come out of nowhere to hurt or aid you. the story overall is a good one but they way its delivered is cumbersome and immersion breaking, and the ending is totally off the rails. but the heart of the game is exploration and playing with all the new toys the game gives in the way of weapons and vehicles. And in this, Far Cry 5 is as good as ever.
