Minty even sent us a packing list in advance for our white water rafting trip. The picked us up from our hotel in a very nice car and was just lovely from the first second! While driving up into the forest she explained a lot on the way. She even took some photos while we were rafting as we left our valuables in the car and sent them and a video to us!!! We finished an exiting day with a delicious Thai BBQ (which was special because the grill was on the table and we could fry our meat while we were cooking a soup) in a lovely jungle resort next to the river. It was a small group, just my family and one other -- yet May's attention to each of us felt like a private tour. She was not only incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and warm, but she also took photos throughout the day, and was prompt in sharing them back to us. We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids. We didn’t want the hassle of going by public transport and wanted to avoid big tours to be more in control of our schedule. Nathlika was picked us up on time at the hotel in Chiang Mai and drove us to the waterfalls in a nice SUV. It took about 1hour 15 minutes. She was very friendly and we had a nice chat with her. She was able to answer many of our questions about Thailand. When we arrived to the falls, she went around with us to tell us more about the area. She also rented a locker for us to leave our stuff in while we were climbing up and down the falls. While in the falls, our guide took photos of us so that we didn’t have to carry our phone and risk getting it wet. Nathlika also arranged a nice picnic for us on top of the falls: we had delicious Pad Thai and bananas. About the falls themselves: they are super fun to walk in. The water is surprisingly warm. Some parts are a bit harder to climb and there are ropes that you can hang on to. Our kids are 5 and 6 years old and they were able to do it the whole way. You can swim in a natural pool at the bottom of the falls or have small fish nibble at your feet. A fun day for everybody! My tour guide, Mindi, was the sweetest and made my day so memorable. She showed me around the park and guided me up and down the falls. She is also a great photographer and captured some amazing photos for me! Minty was so informative and she treated me like a friend instead of a tourist.
