  This is probably not the best One Piece movie, but it is easily the most entertaining film yet. Everything is super over-the-top and that’s why I liked it so much. I had a blast seeing all these beloved characters all at once, it has better fan service since it doesn’t necessarily rely on nostalgia. I also loved the chaotic and non-stop action that it never gets boring. No surprise that the animation is so good. The villains could’ve been written better and the CGI on Bullet is kinda ugly though. I wish it was longer than two hours too. One Piece Stampede is a huge treat for any fan of the series. It’s the most wacky film out of all of them, but that’s what makes it so much fun to watch.

  Happy 20th Anniversary One Piece! You've been a comfort to my life for a very long time. I can't think of a better way to celebrate 20 years then with a movie filled to the brim with beloved characters and badass action. This was a fucking spectacle and I urge any One Piece fan or anime fan in general to give it a watch. Thank you Oda for 20 years of hardwork and dedication to this grand pirate adventure. I would say "here's hoping to 20 more years!" but goddamn you need to rest eventually. 😂

  One Piece: Stampede is meant to serve as a celebration of one of the greatest, longest stories ever told. With over 1000 chapters and episodes and +20 years in circulation, One Piece is a franchise that is more than worthy of having a film that just celebrates its own legacy, especially one that isn’t even canon. And the filmmakers use their inability to affect the main story to the fullest extent, bringing in as many characters from throughout the series into one place. From former allies, former villains, manga-only characters, anime-only characters, movie-only characters, characters who have been in hundreds of chapters, characters who have been in only a few panels, they literally crammed as many characters into this one…

  This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth. "Avengers: Endgame is a mess of nothing but fan-service." One Piece Stampede: B-B-B-BABY YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' YET "One Piece: Stampede" is a film to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the anime series and, in order to commemorate the occasion, Toei Animation, director Takashi Otsuka, and "Creative Supervisor" Eiichiro Oda put out a film that is nonstop anime insanity. The plot is unbelievable nonsense of a giant pirate party island with a ship race for a legendary piece of treasure, with participants being a large cast of cameos. For reasons that I cannot explain, this pirate party turns out to be the greatest war since Marineford that nearly ends in genocide involving nearly every important character in the series's history…

  Essentially unreviewable because I know in my head that it’s nonsensical drivel that’s squarely targeted at zealots like me who can name the guy in the chest from chapter 22 (or Sawyer Wayback) but my heart had an absolutely brilliant time despite the majority of the audience sitting in frosty bewilderment or straight-up walking out. One Piece is an incredible two-decade-old institution and has every right to celebrate itself with a film where story and form make complete way for fan-fulfilment. Definitely wanna go back and see it again on general release because I bet Stampede would feel like a real festival when viewed amongst a crowd of like-minded nakama. At the French premiere the audience literally got out of their seats to celebrate Zoro’s big moment in this and that’s the energy I’m chasing!!
